Frequently Asked Questions

How do I deposit?

Open your wallet, choose the coin and copy the deposit address shown for it. Send only that coin to that address: every address is issued per coin, and a transfer made on the wrong network cannot be recovered. The balance appears once the network has confirmed the transaction.

How long does a withdrawal take?

Withdrawals are reviewed before they are sent. Most go straight through; some are checked by a person, and we may ask you to confirm your identity first. The network fee is shown before you confirm. An entry for a tournament that has not finished is in escrow and cannot be withdrawn until that tournament settles.

What does the platform charge?

We take 10% of the prize fund when a tournament settles, so the winners receive the rest of it. There is no fee on a drawn game, on a voided tournament, or on a game played for nothing. Withdrawals carry the network fee for the coin, which we show before you confirm.

A game did not settle the way I expected.

Send us the game and what you expected, using the form below, within 30 days. We check the server's record of the game, which is the authoritative one, and tell you what we found. Where the balance was wrong, we correct it.

I think my opponent was using an engine.

Report the game with the form below. We look at the moves, the timings and the account behind them. We will tell you the outcome, though not how the detection works, because explaining that is how it gets evaded.

How do I close my account, or stop myself playing?

Close it from your account settings. Withdraw your balance and finish any live game first: a closed account cannot sign in, and its email address and username stay reserved, so a balance left behind cannot be reached. If you want us to stop you playing instead, ask for self-exclusion using the form below.

Before you write

Three things turn a support request into an answer instead of a conversation.

  • For anything about a game: the game or tournament it happened in.
  • For anything about money: the coin, the amount and the transaction hash if there is one.
  • What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.

Contact Support

Send us a message and we will reply by email. Use the address you can actually read: it is where the answer goes, and it is the only reply path we have if you later close the account.

We reply to this address. It is the only way we can reach you.

Include the game, the tournament or the transaction if there is one.

Prefer email? Write to [email protected]

Both documents are versioned and dated, and they say what happens to your money.
